Sonnet Poems

WASHINGTON DC

(Shakespearean Sonnet (some place I love)

The nation’s capital, city of dreams

A city of culture, family and goals

Go-go dancing, other than what it seems

Rush hour, busy streets, deep water holes

The city that never sleeps a beat drop

The sweetness of mumbo brings all to joy

Deep in southeast, all you can see is cops

History lead ways, statues and decoy

This place is my peace, to grind and be me

City of the chili bowl, sports and fun

This love I have, others won’t even see

World Series champs, national’s playoff run

DC is my life, everything and more

Where I love all the way to the last core

LOVE OR HEART BREAKS

(Italian Sonnet)

The letter a and b equal to c

and i can never calculate after

Our love was a shamble disaster

I ask you what that makes you and me

subtract my heart from where it wants to be

multiply my feelings fast and faster

it seems our love is made from plaster

i won't give up until we equal the C

However, we keep having to restart

Lost for words, I am no longer in love

Suddenly i can't find the solution

to the problem of our flame

The answer this is the definition of

In the love of us being pollution

But this All comes to the love of the game
